We invite you to enjoy an authentic Tuscan experience by taking part in the olive harvest in our family olive grove at Casal Gheriglio. From tradition to modernity, this experience offers a complete immersion in the world of olive growing.
MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 2 people, ideal to share with friends or family.
OLIVE HARVESTING: We will begin with the olive harvest using both the traditional method, harvesting by hand, and the modern method, using nets and bagging the olives into bales. You will have the opportunity to experience both processes.
AUTHENTIC SNACK: After the laborious but rewarding harvest, we will enjoy a special snack of bruschetta topped with our extra virgin olive oil, which you will have helped to harvest. This will be paired with an excellent local wine to enhance its Tuscan flavour.
HARVEST PERIOD: This experience can be scheduled just during the olive harvest period, between October and November, when the olive trees are laden with ripe fruit ready to be picked.
